Nice things happen when you share :) The last one was a new patch for get-blogging, from Shree Kumar. Curious ? Please, see this post, at Shree’s blog.

We are still discussing how to integrate this feature in Wordmobi. The problem is the application signature, required for Location capability.

Shree has a trip in the next week and it will be covered using Wordmobi+geo-blogging. Of course, we will follow this trip as well. :-)

          Hi
I tried this on my N82. I have installed Wordmobi 0.9.4 nomgfetch.sis. But if I try to attach or insert an image from my memory card or phone memory I get this error: “”Impossible to upload image X”". Image X is of course just an example. Please help

Is this feature in 0.9.4? I can’t find it. Thanks!

    • Marcelo Barros 8:14 am on April 27, 2010 Permalink | Reply

Ming, I do not create any official release using this feature yet since it requires that you sign your application. But I want to do ASAP.

Returning to Python 1.9.6 and new Wordmobi 0.9.3

Please, it is necessary to use Python 1.9.6 and Wordmobi 0.9.3. since Python 1.9.7 has a bug in mktime() function and you will loose your post if you decide to save it instead publishing.

Just install Python 1.9.6 runtime and Wordmobi 0.9.3. If you have problems when lunching file selection dialog, please use Wordmobi 0.9.3 with simple file selection

hello, thank you for this great app. i’ve been using it since version 0.7. but then after i uninstalled previous version, (right now i’m using wordmobi 0.9.3 and python 1.9.6 on nokia E71) everytime i post it there’s always brbrPosted by a href=”http://wordmobi.googlecode.com”Wordmobi/a at the end of my post. Even the uploaded photos got the html stripped out. Any solution?
      Thank you

This (small) message is the unique advertisement that I have, it is the way I can spread wordmobi project and someday (maybe) to receive any additional support (I do not count on this, in fact). But if you really want to remove it, just publish the post, download it again and edit it. It will be possible to remove this notification. Or you can modify the sources. From my side I will not remove this phrase. I am certainly that you will understand my reasoning.

        • alexblues 7:02 am on November 6, 2009 Permalink

The question is not about small message. The question is about _STRIPPED_HTML_ in posted message. In this smaill message, in uploaded photos… Everithing is stripped html. IMHO, is not good idea to edit it manually, because it doesn’t work :) Any ides about stripped html?

        • jedizone 7:31 am on November 6, 2009 Permalink

Alex, I do not strip any html. The unique html operations is to replace new lines by “br/” and local references in images “e:\” para wordpress links, after uploading. But I do not know exactly what wordpress xmlrpc is doing with upload contents. I am not sure if I got the point.

        • Reza 1:49 pm on March 18, 2010 Permalink

I’m facing the same. Every line break is depicted with a br/ tag, I tried manually (on word mobi) replacing the br/ tags with tags, but on publishing (on a new post or on an old post re-edit), it strips any valid html and replaces with br/ again in my case.

I’m in love with the idea of the application, but unable to get this issue go away.

I’m using the most recent version of WordPress, could this be the reason?

Will i need any plugin for WordPress to replace all br/’s with logical html ‘s?

Any help on this would be GREAT!

          Thanks.

      Hi
Have I just updated to Python 2 on my N97 and wordmobi has stopped working. Is there a new version on the way to handle this? Or is there a workaround. I miss my being able to use wordmobi

      Thanks

Python 2 ? Could you send me the link for this version ? I couldn’t find any version above 1.9.7 at maemo.

      • jedizone 11:46 am on March 19, 2010 Permalink | Reply

now Python 2.0 for S60 is available at maemo.org. I had to remove old version, installed ovi app, and after installed python 2.0 and pips (it comes with python 2.0 install package). Thus, it was possible to install wordmobi in my E71. Ovi has its own pips package and it was not working with python. However, using E72, I could not see this problem.

Just started using this a couple of days ago and the app is working great. Only have one question about the connection you can set up. How do you scan for available wifi spots, it keeps showing me the same list everytime on my nokia 5800. Won’t use the functionality immediately, but it might come in handy to know when i’m abroad…

    • marcelo 9:15 pm on March 26, 2010 Permalink | Reply

Nostra, I can not present dynamic wifi spots, only that one already registered in your system (connections application in symbian). You need to register this access point first.

Python 1.9.7 is crashing wordmobi due to an error in mktime() function.
I will create a new sis, compatible to 1.9.6 this night.

    Delays

Since last Wednesday my internet connection is not working. In the last two days it is intermittent. Several calls to my ISP (telefonica) and no solution yet. This problem is blocking the releasing of my last Wordmobi version (0.9.2).

By the way, I am thinking about a Wordmobi T-shirt. The idea is to collect funds for buying an N900 and port Wordmobi to Maemo 5. I need to check if I can use wordpress symbol but first proposal is below:
